Moving from the Facebook Fan Page to Blog!

Well, the time has come, our fan page is gaining in popularity and I want to give things away and have competitions!

So, in this blog there will be give-aways and product releases and info related to anything in the world of Unido Baby Slings!

Our latest give-away!

At the Auckland Parent & Child Show, we had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Sarina from http://www.nudeyrudey.co.nz/ and sampling her delicious (and yes it IS delicious because yes you CAN actually eat it!) New Mother's Little Helper Organic Balm! (RRP: $24.90)

A bit about this fabulous wonder balm (as taken from the The Nudey! Rudey! Website):

'Living up to its name, Mother's Little Helper is ideal for quenching dry skin, to massage the whole family, protect nappied bottoms and sooth itchy skin on a swelling pregnant belly. Containing 97% certified organic ingredients, packaged in a handy reuseable tin, free from nut and palm oils you'll find hundreds of uses for the truly multipurpose balm. Discover for yourself the healing benefits of Manuka and Harekeke, native to New Zealand and long known for their healing and antiseptic qualities.'

And, because MCN (Modern Cloth Nappies) are also fabulous we though why not pair this great Balm with a Nudey! Rudey! MCN Trial Pack! (Available in your colour choice http://www.nudeyrudey.co.nz/product_palette.html)

So here's how to enter the draw for this very cool (and extremely eco!) prize pack: Tell us (posting on the blog) how you could use Mother's Little Helper Organic Balm! The most creative entry wins and competition closes 10pm (NZ time) Monday 16th November 2009 and open to both NZ and AUS Fans.
So get your thinking caps on and enter to win this very cool prize pack!

  5. Oh I like the sound of that balm. I would use it for my preggy belly, my little mans (1) bottom and my bigger little mans (3) dry skin (he gets excema) I would also use it on my little girls (5) itchy bites that she seems to collect. So as not to be left our I am sure I can find a use for the 6yr old and the 10yr old too - maybe they could have it on toast ;-)

  6. This would be great to have on hand for when my 5 yr old has her sub-cutaneous canula taken out (every 3 days). She's left with a little patch of dry, irritated skin that really needs a little TLC.

  8. So many uses, not only the one...
To soothe sore bottoms (baby's) or an itcy tum (Mum!)!
To help nails to grow nice and long
and the skin on my hands to be smooth and strong.
To put on my toast at my breakfast meal, and to make my face lovely to feel!
It would make my hair all shiny and smooth,
Then I could go out on the town and "bust a move"
The cats would love it on their chapped paw pads and maybe I could use it on my husbands "little man" (hehe)

All in all there are uses a many.... hmmm perhaps it could even shine a penny??!!

Seriously though - the idea of something natural for baby, husband and me would be fabulous - my husband is a SNAG and uses lots of lip balm - this could be a nice change!

    :-)

╰⊰⊹✿ I would love to win this prize ✿⊹⊱╮

╰⊰⊹✿ I am a huge Modern Cloth Nappy fan, and although I don't have any Nudeyrudey nappies I would LOVE to try them ✿⊹⊱╮

╰⊰⊹✿ The Mother's Little Helper Organic Balm looks so good - good enough to eat! ;-) ✿⊹⊱╮

╰⊰⊹✿ The balm would be great for my son, who is having a real hard time with nappy rash at the moment (possibly due to teething) poor wee man :( ✿⊹⊱╮

╰⊰⊹✿ My partner would also benefit from it. He gets dry skin but won't do anything about it (grrr). ✿⊹⊱╮

╰⊰⊹✿ With all this beautiful weather we have been having lately, my hands are quite dry from being outside gardening at every opportunity I get! We could definitely use a multi-purchase, natural balm in this household! ✿⊹⊱╮
